Arnaque de faux logement sur Idealista / TripAdvisor

Description :

HI,
Thank you for your interest in renting my home. My name is Cooney Elaine Catherine. I have an apartment with a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. First of all, you should know that you don’t share an apartment with anyone. I should post the apartment in the rooms category because I have one room occupied with my belongings, but the whole apartment is yours (minus my room). The apartment is still available. The rental price includes bills for water, electricity, heating and internet/TV.

In addition, a security deposit (2 months’ rent) is required. This will be refunded at the end of the contract (30 days notice required).
Right now I live in Dublin, Ireland, I moved here with my husband as my company relocated me for a 4 year project.
If you are more interested, please provide me with some information about yourself (age, lifestyle or what you think makes you a good tenant).
Unfortunately, due to my work it will be a bit difficult to meet me in person now, I am currently in Dublin, Ireland and cannot travel at the moment.
Also, last time I was home I met an interested couple, but they never showed up and it’s not convenient to fly from one place to another, especially when you have work commitments. So, we decided to do the viewing process through TripAdvisor (I don’t know if you’ve used them or heard of them), an international company that mainly deals with rentals.

Here is the link of the agency to give you an idea:
https://www.tripadvisor.com/trust

When I lived there, I rented the apartment for a few months, only for short periods (on TripAdvisor).
But now, with my move to Dublin, Ireland. I decided to rent it for a long time so I don’t have to go home all the time.
Tripadvisor Process:

– I will list the property on TripAdvisor and you will book it for 1 month. The rental contract must be stipulated for at least one month, up to 5 years.
– You will need to pay TripAdvisor the first month of stay + 2 months refundable deposit at the end of the contractual period to confirm your reservation. This deposit covers (1 month’s rent + 2 months security deposit). You will receive the security deposit at the end of the contract.
– After completing your online booking on TripAdvisor, your deposit will be in their secure system. In case there is something you don’t like, you can have a full refund the same day, but rest assured that the facility is very nice and clean.
– It is not possible to see before booking as I am not in the country (last week I lost 2 plane tickets with a person who never came to the appointment), but once the booking is confirmed on TripAdvisor, I will come in person to give you the keys and you make the contract.
To start registering through TripAdvisor. I need the following information:

– Date you want to move:
– Period of time in which you wish to rent the property:
– Number of person:

I can offer you the apartment via TripAdvisor, but I need to have a photo of your passport or student/worker card or any ID card to be sure you are a legit person and I’m not wasting my time .
If you have any other questions, please tell me. Also, I can give you my passport and lease

I await your email.
Thank you -Elaine

Hi Emmy,
Yes, The apartment has 3 bedrooms, and you can rent 2 bedrooms. The price per month for 2 bedrooms will be 600 Euro.
Thanks for your document and details. I agree to rent you the apartment but please tell me if you can make the reservation right now because someone can book the apartment in your place and we must avoid that.
If you can make the reservation right now I can send you the offer from TripAdvisor to start the reservation.
Let me know.
Thanks -Elaine

Thanks for your message. I agree to rent you the apartment.
I can make you the offer of the apartment through TripAdvisor, but I need to have a photo of your passport or student/work card or any identity card to be sure you are a legitimate person, and I am not wasting my time.
Thanks -Elaine
